TAG Platinum status is awarded only to those companies that have been certified to receive seals in all four of TAG’s program areas: fraud, piracy, malware, and inventory quality. As of writing, only five companies have been awarded TAG Platinum status.

TAG Platinum status is the culmination of rigorous inventory quality and safety processes, including 25-point audits of every publisher who applies to be part of the Sovrn exchange. TAG platinum means that Sovrn has achieved the following program seals:

- TAG Certified Against Piracy
- TAG Certified Against Malware
- TAG Inventory Quality Guidelines
