Ad quality is one of publishers’ biggest concerns when onboarding a new ad partner.  Because all the major ad partners out there are plugged into a robust list of demand partners, there’s always bound to be some unwanted ads that slip through the cracks. Luckily for you, Sovrn has a strategy to block bad ads.

Our Ad Operations team works closely with The Media Trust to detect unwanted ad creatives (auto-audio, redirects, etc.) Once the unwanted ad is identified by Ad Ops, they send the necessary information to all of our demand partners and request that they remove the campaign responsible for serving that creative. In order for Ad Ops to successfully locate the unwanted creative, there are a few things we need from you:
1. Send the Campaign ID (CID) to your account manager.
2. Send the URL of the page where you saw the ad.
3. Send the browser you saw the ad on.
If Sovrn is not the only partner in the particular zone where you saw the ad, it is important to note that we might not be the ones responsible for serving the creative. That being said, if Sovrn is responsible for serving the unwanted ad and you are able to send us the above information, we will find it and remove it from the demand aligned to your ad tags.
Thanks for all your help!
